Voicebox Comedy

Hello! Just a short post to say that Voicebox Comedy will be doing a show at Accidental Theatre Belfast on 30th May 2025, as per this blurb below:

“Join the cult comedy misfits of Voicebox Comedy as they hijack Accidental for one glorious night of chaos, character bits, and offbeat brilliance. Expect the unexpected: surreal stand-up, experimental sketches, and the kind of oddball energy you won’t find anywhere else in Belfast. There may be a cowboy. There may be a clipboard. It’s alternative, it’s anarchic, it’s Voicebox. Fancy dress optional. MC’d as ever by Marcus Keeley.”

I also don’t fully know what to expect as I usually ask the acts to do something they haven’t done before and that is not in their usual style, and to not tell me in advance unless strictly necessary – I enjoy being surprised too!

This can mean a comedian does a character for the first time, does something to music, some poetry or stare fully dead-eyed into the audience for 3 minutes. Well, that’s something I’ve definitely done before, but perhaps not intentionally. Maybe for this show…
